Noise Levels
This disposal is extremely quiet comparing the old noisy badger disposals, but a bit noisy compared to the high-end noise insulated disposals. The noise level is completely tolerable as said by most of the consumers.

Whenever someone asks me my choice for 1/3 HP disposal, I mention General Electric GFC320V. It is a great option for small houses. Though it contains 1/3 horse power motor, it is quite powerful for operation. I have seen people using this disposal for a long period of time without having a problem. I can surely say it is a great disposal with great price and features.
